PNRA – IAEA Workshop on “International School of Nuclear and Radiological Leadership for Safety” at PNRA HQs, Islamabad, Scheduled from July 1~5, 2019

PNRA in collaboration with IAEA is organizing a five day workshop on “International School of Nuclear and Radiological Leadership for Safety” scheduled from July 1-5, 2019 at PNRA HQs.

The objective of the international school is to enhance the knowledge and leadership skills of the participants in nuclear and radiological safety. The workshop is designed on the basis of IAEA General Safety Requirements Leadership and Management – (GSR Part 2) which includes lectures and case studies. During the lectures, topics will be covered on leadership safety, safety culture, internal & external communication, leadership models and the role of leader and systematic approach. In addition, the participants will be engaged in various case studies of nuclear and radiation scenarios. The School is expected to be helpful for the participants in understanding and implementing a safety culture in their respective organizations.

The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Faizan Mansoor, Member (Executive), PNRA. Five experts from IAEA will be sharing their knowledge and experience through lectures, discussions and mentoring. A total of thirty (30) participants including 20 from PNRA and 10 from PAEC are attending the workshop.
